Dinner Show - Dinner Diva's "A Taste of Italy"
Italian songs like they were meant to be heard with a soloist and an accordion. Rich and warm the Neapolitan and opera repertoire is perfect for intimate groups up to 50 or as a section of a larger event. You will hear songs like: O Solo Mio, Torna A Surriento, Volare, Ave Maria, Mattinata, That's Amore, Santa Lucia, O Mio Babino and more. This rich music is the perfect dinner 'extra' to make your event remembered by all. She performs at special events with her husband Doug Beckman. They give a real European flavor to an event when Joanna sings and Doug accompanies her on his accordion!

Anthems
Joanna Ceciliani is available to sing the US and Canadian National Anthems. Having the anthem sung to kickoff a baseball game, other sporting event, or to start a large or national meeting can grab the energy of all participants for a spectacular and inspirational start. Joanna has a voice that was made to sing the National Anthem.

Wedding music and songs
Harp music, solo songs or duets are available for your wedding. Maureen Love (maureenlove.com) has been playing harp all her life and performs at 50+ weddings a year. Harp music is beautiful as people enter and exit and is a perfect background for a soloist. Other types of music are also available. Joanna and Jeannie Ceciliani have been singing all their lives. Joanna sings many styles but specializes in opera and has sung for weddings and received praise for her clear beautiful voice. Jeannie sings many styles but specializes in popular and western music.

Background Information:

Joanna Ceciliani - She has been singing since she was 4 years old. Her Mother and Father built a dance hall in 1948 in SE Portland and had guest celebrities every Saturday night. They included: Johnny Cash, Bobby Daren, Bobbie Vee, Brenda Lee, Paul Revere and the Raiders, Hank Thompson, Bobbie Vinton (lots of Bobbies)… Anyway, how could she help but sing! She performed as a member of the New Oregon Singers beginning at age 19 and sang in many different countries all over the world for military troops and in hospitals. Conventions and Corporations hired her Manhattan Transfer Styled group and during the holidays her Santa Sister’s duo for dinner shows. As a member of the Portland Opera Chorus, she has performed in more than 40 operas.

Doug Beckman - He was just seven when he started playing accordion. He performed in grange halls, nursing homes, retirement homes, talent shows at Creston Grade School, and competed at the Accordion Festivals in Portland in the 1950's. He studied with Luigi Rangan for seven years and then, when he started high school, it wasn't’t a ‘cool’ thing to do anymore. He basically put it away for 40 years. When he met Joanna Ceciliani, he got it out again and started to study again with, guess who, Luigi Rangan! That was approximately 6 years ago. Now Doug rewrites songs so he can play harmony with Joanna singing the melody. The combination makes for happy, fun, passionate music. Doug is a judge during daytime hours.
